Matt Williams grew up on a small plant nursery named Blue Spruce Farm and Nursery. Matt has been a licensed Landscape Architect since 2010. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in the Science of Landscape Architecture. Upon graduating he took a job in Northern Virginia where he worked for 8 years building extensive high end residential projects, under the direction of a well established landscape architect. While there they built additions, outdoor kitchens, porches, decks, swimming pools, patios, retaining walls, fireplaces, low-voltage lighting, and of course landscaping.

Design Philosophy: "Always remain fluid while designing, don't fight where the data needs to take you. A great design satisfies the parameters of the job with an artistic flare and rhythm, such as: the elevations of the site, clients' wishes, zoning / HOA restrictions, style of the home, sun exposure, etc."
